Interaction Between Plant Growth Regulators and the Physiological Responses Mediated by Vvagl11, a Key Gene Determining Seed and Berry Development in Table Grape.

Objetivo general

To characterize functionally VvAGL11 gene, identifying the causal mechanism by which the seedless allele is responsible for the detected phenotypic variation of this trait and, to establish if there is an interaction between VvAGL11 gene and key growth regulators that promotes grapevine seed and berry development.

Objetivos específicos

1.- In fleshy fruit model specie, establish the differential expression patterns of VvAGL11 alleles and determine functional regions to drive specific expression 2.- In fleshy fruit model and grapevine, determine if growth regulators modify VvAGL11 expression pattern and rate of cell division and expansion. 3.- In grapevine, identify potential loci or genes targets of transcriptional regulation by VvAGL11, and characterize expression patterns of key genes involved in growth regulators transduction pathways.
